Speak and be heard

Your experience can help someone — whether in graphic design, marketing, business, or even choosing which brunch spot to hit. Learn an intentional approach to advice-giving and expand your influence.

Stop avoiding conflict

When you don't say what you really think, the conversation can't move forward. How can you resolve your concerns if you haven't shared them? The more you share, the easier you'll find it to keep sharing.

Be an original

Only you see through your eyes. When you are confidently authentic, people can see you as you see yourself. And when you open yourself to other people’s perspectives, they may share amazing things with you.
“To put it simply: I wouldn't be the consultant I am today without his help and mentoring.”

Sergey Stefoglo, VP Operations

Four simple habits

I’ve organized this course as four lessons, each of which teaches a single habit. Together, these habits allow — and encourage — you to share your point of view in any conversation.

When you use these habits, you will immediately experience changes in your conversations and relationships. These new experiences form a foundation for more practice and growth. Students report finding it incredibly motivating to see that change.

A tested approach

I honed How to Give Advice over 10,000+ hours billed as a consultant, or “professional advice-giver.”

In that time, I led over 100 workshops on client skills and refined my method through a dozen live presentations of the course before bringing it to you. I can't wait to see what you accomplish with these skills.
“Ben is fantastic at helping people see the root issue instead of just the symptoms. I would absolutely recommend working with him if you get the chance!”

Laurel Taylor, Group Account Director

Hello 👋 I’m Ben

While billing over 10,000 hours as a consultant, I wondered: what kind of advice succeeds? What do you do when somebody has a decision to make, and you want them to consider your point of view?

Through diligent iteration, I sifted what works from what doesn’t. Now I’d like to teach you what I learned.

My new course, How to Give Advice, launches on October 25.
